Accessibility Statement

Your Practice Online is committed to provide solutions to make our website and our clients’ websites available to as many people as possible by meeting the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). We will make every effort to ensure website-based communications are accessible to those with visual, hearing, cognitive and motor impairments.

Your Practice Online acknowledges that internet users with disabilities can find websites difficult to use. We recognize this important issue, and are taking necessary steps to ensure that all Your Practice Online developed websites are accessible in accordance with known guidelines framed by industry-standard techniques and practices, to provide an acceptable level of ADA accessibility for website users. These include, but are not limited to, the characteristics of usability for screen reader users, keyboard-only users, users with impaired hearing and vision.

What are we doing?

Your Practice Online has developed an internal audit ADA checklist to use as a standard industry benchmark, based on industry consortiums and current published criteria, with the goal of providing a shared standard for internet user accessibility to meet the needs of individuals, organizations, and governments internationally; and to communicate how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities. Furthermore, we have communicated to our client base the need to update their sites in accordance with new ADA internet requirements, by offering clients an affordable solution to upgrade aging, non-compliant sites. As of 2017, all of Your Practice Online new published sites are ADA compliant to known standards and technology, or are in the process of audit and conversion with a completion goal of February 2018. Your Practice Online continues to dedicate additional resources to improve this process, benchmark new technology and requirements as they become available, and develop additional web-based solutions for Americans with Disabilities.

How are we doing?

Your Practice Online recognizes that not all our websites may be ADA compliant, or that there may be various interpretations of what internet ADA compliance standards include. Due to high demand to upgrade numerous sites, lack of existing information technology, and lack of clear and concise published requirements, we are making efforts to upgrade sites as quickly as possible. Furthermore, although we encourage clients with websites published before 2017 to upgrade to the newest website technology, it is ultimately the decision of each client to invest in this upgrade. We continue to enhance our audit and benchmark process of redesigning and creating new website content to be compliant with the current W3C Level One guidelines available to us at this time.

We welcome any feedback on how to improve the site’s accessibility for all users. It is our goal to develop a website that is accessible to everyone! Email us at info@yourpracticeonline.net Or call us on (877) 388-8569
